“Giving birth to my daughter was a pivotal moment in my life. Everything I had taken for granted about my own mother, and those women close to me who were mothers, was suddenly brought to gruesome, agonising, exhausting light.

I made this film to reflect the blinding lights and soul-shattering darks of (new) motherhood.”
