Witches Hex (2021)

"Witches Hex" is a painted text work - a vocal rejection of the cynical commercialisation of (and cyclical cause of) women's insecurities and fears, created by patriarchal/traditional power structures to break women's self esteem and keep them in their subservient place.

This work is part of the “Meat out of Place” series, inspired by the essay “Something out of place” by Eimear McBride.
